Step 1: Go to the official website for more information. If you are eligible for a Central or State  License, you must first check the eligibility condition. You must enter each location’s address  independently and confirm each one’s eligibility separately. 

Note: If your restaurant has less than 20 crores, you should apply for a State License; if your  turnover is greater than 20 crores, you should apply for a Central License. 

Step 2: When the page loads, click on the link that says “Sign up for an available licence.” Fill in  your contact information on the sign-up form. Make sure you have a working email address or  phone number. 

Step 3: For the registration, create a unique username and password. To finish the sign-up  procedure, click Register after filling out the form. 

Step 4: You will receive a sign-up success confirmation message through SMS and email after  your account has been activated. 

Remember that this user ID is only valid for 30 days; if you do not apply online during that time,  your user ID will be disabled. 

Step 5: Log in to your account and complete the FSSAI Registration Application Form online.  The important documents required for FSSAI registration are shown below. 

Step 6: After completing the online application, print it out before hitting the “Submit” button. 

Step 7: Once you’ve submitted your application, write down the reference number that appears  on the screen. The reference number is essential to follow the status of your Registration or  Licensing application. 

Step 8: For your application to be considered, submit a printout of the completed Online Food  License Application Form to the Regional Authority/State Authority along with all supporting  papers within 15 days of making the online submission. 

Fees for FSSAI License Registration Certificates are INR 100 per year. The central license costs  INR 7500 per year, whereas the state license costs INR 2000 per year. 

What are the required documents for FSSAI registration of a restaurant?

The Proprietor has completed and signed the form (Restaurant Owner). 

• Identity Verification 

• Government authorities give address proof. 

• List of the company’s top directors and stakeholders, together with verification of their  identities
